I know that it takes an extremely strong heart to be lifting massive amounts of weight and weight training alone is not enough of a cardio workout. What do these contenders in the world strongest man do for their cardio fitness? And also i'd like to see what their diet consists of if anyone has a link.What do power lifters do for cardio fitness?Many powerlifters don't do any cardio training due to the risk of the cardio using muscle as an energy source and those that do cardio mostly stick to low-medium intensity and keeping session to less than an hour.
Diet is just a normal healthy diet high in complex carbs, low in saturated fats and with adequate protein levels based on bodyweight.
