What are four fitness components needed with sprinting?

hey :) all help appreciated no matter how little information your giving me !

I just want to know different fitness components which are important for athletes who compete in 100 m sprints.

Things like... cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, flexibility, power and muscular strength.

Which of them /\ are important?

thankyou very much for reading and (hopefully) answering.What are four fitness components needed with sprinting?Of the ones you listed, flexibility, power and muscular strength would all be important in the 100m dash. Definitely don't need the CV and muscular endurance.



CVE is the ability of the heart to provide oxygen to muscles during physical activity for a prolonged period of time. The 100m dash is an anaerobic race. Muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle to do continuous work over a long period of time, which the 100m is not a long period of time. Reaction time would be pretty important in regards to this race.What are four fitness components needed with sprinting?You listed a large number of components needed for sprinting and as far as I know, that concludes the important ones.

However, as you stated musclar endurance and stregnth is really important



Muscular endurance and stregnth both work together to legnthen your stride (muscular stregnth-being the push you can get contributing to the height you can get in the air. the more muscular endurance, the longer stride legnth. muscular endurance- the frequency where you can use your muscular stregnth throughout a race.What are four fitness components needed with sprinting?you just named them all. but also running form is really important.
