Upon graduation of bootcamp, Marines must pass the Final PFT (Physical Fitness Test), under these terms: Males must be able to do 3 pullups. 50 situps in 2 minutes. And run 3 miles in 28 minutes. Females must be able to do a flex-arm hang for 15 seconds, also do 50 situps in 2 minutes. And run 3 miles in 31 minutes.
If I were you, work on your pullups, try to get that situp/per/minute number as high as you can, and run run run. And when you pass the set of stats I gave you, you can say you've done the workout/are as physically fit as it is required of a Marine to be.What are your recommendations fitness wise to join the marines?For a Perfect Score on your PT in boot camp you require:
20 Pullups
100 Crunches in 2 minutes
18:00 for 3 mile run (6:00 min/mile)
This is how you get the max 300 points on PT
