Can someone take over my Planet Fitness membership?

I have had a membership at Planet Fitness since April, and I don't ever go anymore because I recently moved and I can't ever drive out there so it's a waste of money. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can let someone take over the remainder of my contract?Can someone take over my Planet Fitness membership?I dont know for sure but i doubt it. Most places make you show some sort of ID or scan the card when you come into the gym. Also, most of them have your picture on file. Unless whoever your giving it to looks exactly like you, i dont think it would work. You could always call customer service so that you could find out for sure!
