I am so out of shape and want to start being more active.. is it better to spend money on fitness boot camp?

or should I just try to be active on my own? I am afraid that I will be unable to handle someone in my face telling me what to do, but at the same time I want to improve my fitness.... any suggestions?I am so out of shape and want to start being more active.. is it better to spend money on fitness boot camp?Sounds like you're feeling desperate for some motivation. I get that. I've thought about doing something like that myself. But you don't really want someone screaming at you. In a way, you're already screaming at yourself, and who needs more of that?

My suggestion is to find a physical activity that you really like and turn it into your weight loss routine. For example, if you like to watch Dancing with the Stars--and haven't we all seen them lose weight and become more fit-- take up dancing through the Parks %26amp; Recreation Dept or Arthur Murray Dance studios. You can also get a DWTS DVD for weight loss.

Choosing an activity that you enjoy puts the motivation inside you because you're loving it and loving yourself. BTW, you don't need a dance partner at these classes. Most of them have solo individuals that you'll pair up with or switch off with.

Good luck with your goal!
