Hello,
Since it is summer i need to improve my football fitness for football season next year. What are some other aspects i should improve besides agility, speed and endurance? What kind of exercises do i need to do, aerobic or anaerobic? I am an attacking midfielder. What are some good fitness drills and exercises i can do for agility, speed, endurance and explosive power? Also some good plyometric exercises would be good. Any football workout routines would be great aswell. Also websites which just give a list of exercises would be perfect.

i mark out 50m, and i put 1kg weights on my ankles....i do 8 sprints at 100% and dont stop, i job back to start and then boom i go again, at the end of 8 i have a 2 minute break, then i do 6, then 4, then 2....at this point the body is destroyed, so instead of giving up, you begin to go up again, do 2 more, then 4, then 6, and then finally 8.....it absolutely tears u apart, but jeeeeeeeesus does it make u fit and toned!!!
other than that i suggest swimming, it works every muscle in the body and therefore its perfect, plus works a different kind of fitness from straight out running!
dont bother so much with weights they will make u bigger than u wanna be, u want to be lean.
oh, and skipping, skipping is brilliant for fitness, and so is boxing, i do kickboxing as well now days!
