Can someone give me some links to forums/sites for discussion on martial arts for fitness for older beginners?

I am 36, and am interested in persuing martial arts (again) for fitness and health. Is there any websites for forums for beginning martial arts, and/or martial arts being used for fitness?

Thank youCan someone give me some links to forums/sites for discussion on martial arts for fitness for older beginners?try bullshido.net for a "non-art specific" site. they lean towards sportative styles but better that than some mma or tma hating site. they also have a wealth of fitness info and links to it over there.

make sure your intent is CLEAR that you want it for fitness.

good luck and at 36 you should do well, I'm 52 and started at 49, after I quit playing soccer at 46 I gained 25 lbs. and have no ACL ligament in 1 knee and a ruptured Achilles tendon and about 20 other injuries from the 30+ years as a player, but as I study Ho Kuk Mu Sool, I have really turned it back around from constant pain in my knees and low back I now feel quite good for my age and mileage.
