How much do you pay for your 24-Hour Fitness membership?

I'm looking to join 24-hour Fitness with my boyfriend, and I was wondering how much people pay for their membership monthly, and what their start-up costs were. I'm hoping to be able to do a "family plan" thing that's cheaper, but I'm not sure what their options are and I'm trying to do some research. Most of the time they'll try to screw you but if you walk out they will give you a better deal. Another option is to pay in advance. My friend did a 3 year plan for $500 and after the 3 years pays $90 annually but you'd have to be comitted to 24 hour fitness for this one.
