Reverend BobDo you think the gov. would pay for me to have fitness equipment in my home with me being disabled?
No. To get even the rehab equipment you'd have to get a doctor to sign off on them %26amp; even then, that's not a guarantee that you'd get it. You'd have to be pretty badly physically disabled %26amp; you'd have to prove that you are unable to get to a gym.
You aren't going to get any financial assistance for your equipment if you are on disability for mental problems. There are ways you can lose weight in your own house, such as sit ups, jumping jacks, %26amp; various other ways. You can also lose quite a bit by cutting back in your diet as well.Do you think the gov. would pay for me to have fitness equipment in my home with me being disabled? You don't really need any equipment to start an exercise regimen. You can start with walking and work your way up to other, more active forms of exercise. And I hate to say it, but I don't think that having a mental disability really qualifies you for free exercise equipment, or anything else, for that matter.
No, i dont think that can happen, however you could go and see your doctor and talk to her about how you are feeling about your body your need to lose weigh.you do need to someone, maybe your doctor can help you to getin touch with other Disbdity peoplw who are suffering the same as you to get more surport and help for you to make friends to.Do you think the gov. would pay for me to have fitness equipment in my home with me being disabled?I think they would question you very heavily , only severely handicapped people get any home help.
I take it you have proof of this condition?
Ask though , but I think they'll refuse you ; and perhaps they will accuse you of wasting time?
They might just tell you to run up and down stairs or they might get you some more counselling to help you overcome your fear.Do you think the gov. would pay for me to have fitness equipment in my home with me being disabled?
No not unless it was some kind of physical re-hab equipment. Just because you are agoraphobic it doesn't entitle you to free exercise equipment, sorry. Have some one go to walmart and get you an exercise ball and some weights - under $20 for both. If you have a little spending cash you might get a Wii Fit. Or put on some music and just dance around - that's free.
not even if a doc prescribed it in the US..there are things you can do without equipment..
if you have stairs walk up and down.
run forward and backward across a room
do sit ups and stretching...
wathc aerobics on TV--they use very little equipment...
maybe a step stool (i got a good one at dollar tree) and a rope or scarf (again at dollar tree)
one thing i do with laundry--fold one piece--walk to the bedroom, put away..walk back, get another piece, etcDo you think the gov. would pay for me to have fitness equipment in my home with me being disabled?
No the government won't pay for fitness equipment for someone who is physically able to exercise on their own. You can run around your neighborhood, you can do push ups, sit ups, etc.
No, but there are service organizations that can offer help.
Maybe if a doctor prescribed the equipment, but I doubt it.
I hope not or the world has gone mad.
no
